Former World Hour Record holder Graeme O'Bree is the subject of another cycling film which premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival in 2006: 'The Flying Scotman' . Graeme has had a somewhat colourful career which featured feats of brilliance intermingled with bouts of alcoholism & depression . Graeme is pictured above at the film launch.Our connection with Graeme is that his hour record was ridden in the colours of the Leo Road Club our former club in the UK & his then manager Vic Haines was introduced to road cycling by my father Terry Lack.
